Hi Lads & Lasses,

Need help with two teasers please.

More prepared to become insensible in the back. (7) R-a-i-r Unless I have gone wrong somewhere. Can see rear = back but can't find a word to fit with the letters I have got.

Fired drunk (3) --T I have LIT which accounts for the 'fired' part of the clue but what has that to do with a drunk?

Most grateful for any help that anyone is able to offer.

Thank you very much, couldn't see the first one for toffee and never heard of the second one (Slang. under the influence of liquor or narcotics) so I have gained a valuable piece of info for future use.
