Buckes of Bells we think is another misprint and should read "buckets". Think of what "Bells" could be apart from something that rings amd the book was also made into a film in 1949. Hope that helps. How many did your mother get? She will probably remember the film.

the correct spelling would be (6.6) letters. I think.
