I was guilty of this on Saturday with the Guardian Prize. Apologies, but it was a case of geeker posting while I was composing. I’ve not worked out away of avoiding this (which has only happened twice to me) - if I check just before I post this involves opening a new window, and there’s always the possibility that the thread will then be started between the checking and the posting!
