I hate to cavil when I am being entertained (for free) , but I do feel that Doc's puzzles are becoming increasingly mundane.

Bobbycollins, I think there are many others who feel the same! Those of us who remember the excellent (and tough and interesting) puzzles Doc used to set can't help but be disappointed at having to list old characters in Coronation Street, old businesses that have gone bust, old models of cars...
