Head-scratching hasn’t worked so I’ll ask solvers out there.

Solution plus parsing will be much appreciated.

Thank you Malone.
A short answer but, even having seen your parsing, without your help I'd still be scratching my head.

Would appreciate help parsing these....

1a Down in the mouth after this domestic battle? (6,5) - PILLOW FIGHT (Domestic battle)

I can see LOW for 'Down' or 'Down in the mouth', but that's about it.

22a Thomas Stearns embodies warmth in creative practices (4,4) - THE ARTS (Creative practices)

Is this just 'Heart' in TS, or is there more going on?

7d Poet runs to stop novelist making bloomer (10) - HELIOTROPE (Bloomer)

The last 5 letters are an anagram of POET R(uns), but that leaves HELIO for 'Novelist', which doesn't seem right.

18d Attack Old Greek fellow without wit to join the winning side (4,2,3,9) - JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON (Join the winning side)

I think 'Attack' = JUMP ON and 'Wit' could be WAG but that's about as far as I get.
