22 Curt, a fibre, editor; an artifical stone [starts between Sha & Sil] I think a cat - shorthaired something

Toadstool and short haired seem spot on...

May be if y ou gave a couple of other examples that you already have, it may help to figure " the mind set" of the quizzer.

toadstool looks right to me.
Black toadstool was my best guess but not much evidence to support it.
