I'm fine ta, apart from having our local news in Jersey swamped by the multiple death of a 6-person stabbing incident over the weekend. In Jersey, the island is in shock!

Am also quite worried about you, you seemed to have been online in the VERY wee small hours last night. Was it the medication?

And jazzgirl , I know that Answerbank can be very useful, nmy only point was that on the occasions where I have used the search feature to see if there may have been a posting on a particular crossword, I have never found an answer. Maybe if i posted a question on there I might well get a response, but purely from using their search facility i have never had any luck. So nothing to forgive really just a certain person has quite deliberately I feel, decided to get hold of the wrong end of the stick and pursue a vendetta. I can't do anything now, as I promised Matron I would ignore her, but it's really hard to ignore someone who seems to be stalking me.

That's what I've been saying Jazzgirl; the answers are there. Contrary to what sallyw says.

jazzgirl, she's STILL not getting it, I just can't seem to explain it simply enough for her to grasp. I know that you and the others will understand my point, which certainly wasn't the one that ...... seems to have morphed it into for her own ends.

Wendy, I was so shocked to hear about the stabbings in Jersey. I have had many happy holidays there and and lots of good memories.

Thanks Jazzgirl - with around 100,000 residents on an island 9 miles by 4 we are all somehow affected even though not many of us will have known the family personally.

I am quite active on Answerbank and my experience is that postings do not go unanswered for long - especially Mephisto, Times, Guardian etc.
The problem is with the search facility. If you don't enter precisely what has been stored it comes up blank. People often post
'last one Mephisto' so unless you type in exactly those words it will not take you to the relevant post.

Glad you are ok. I can imagine what a shock it would be, so sad.
