Don't know much about the theme work, but found the four obvious "thematic" elements in 4 of the unclueds. But, where is the thematic element in 31D? (Should 31d in fact have a clue that just didn't make it into the puzzle?)

There’s an error in the number count of 32a so it’s possible 31d was meant to be a regular clue but got left off.

I collapsed with the end in sight. Is 8d a name? I’m sure my cross-checking letters are right. The theme word must be ***** but I’m too dull to see thematic elements in the three ‘remaining unclued’ lights (I’m still missing 12a) - and unsure about the final letter of 1d. Well done to you brighter solvers. Perhaps better luck for me next week.
