Good day. I found this pretty straightforward. Rhyming pair, variation on the primarily, a hidden, long anagrams, loved 20a - with a loud groan.

Enjoy your day, happy to help with hints later

A couple that puzzled me: the definition in 7d is odd, and why Tolkien in 24? - they are far more numerous elsewhere.

A steady solve with a few groans on the way, especially 13d and my LOI 24a. Rhyming pair 2d and 20a?

Sorry but I thought this was poor. As well as being pretty much a write-in, some of the cluing wasn't very good. In addition to the examples above, why does the solution to 21d meet the definition? In 20a, why is the second part a provision for baking? No indication of a homophone. Maybe I just got out the wrong side of bed this morning?
