Another really satisfying result for me. With a little bit of help of course. Loved it.

Having "spoken quietly" I'm struggling to find the serenade/poem in my ODQ. Any hints appreciated, unless I'm completely on the wrong track! I have almost all the clues, and have googled OTT LOL.

The last four extra letters give the surname of the author. This is his only quote in ODQ, and gives you the unclued words. You could Google that to find the rest of the song

Indeeed. I really enjoyed this one too , lots of cold solving to start with followed by a fairly staightforward grid fill. Key was getting the song and its composer. Many thanks to Eclogue

Have also really enjoyed this one.

I have an issue with my ‘grid’. I have every answer but one solved. I have all of my solved answers nearly interlinked in the grid as per the preamble.

My remaining clue (Indian plates ancient statue near French farmhouse (6)) is in my completed grid as SAMROR or RORMAS. However, neither of those are a thing and the answer I’m looking for should begin with a K or an L…

Anyone able to tell me where I’ve gone wrong? As I say, every other answer slots together nicely, so I can’t see what I’ve done wrong…

It should begin with a K, which should be the second letter of the clue beginning “Transfixes”. That 7 letter answer only has the second and sixth letters different when reversed, so maybe you need to transpose it? Just an idea
