I think the setter did not intend to refer to such tragedies but the operating theatre. RIP.

I have a long way to go with this one, so I hope someone can give me a clue to these:

1a Westminser's initial anger at Chuck's invasion of privacy (7)

I have only the first letter which I think is W.

2d Calm about lust? F-off (7). ??S???L

4d Mock shag, sport? (4,3) ??????N

12a Fellow gets on edge, with female cutting off Starmer's thing? (4-8)
??I ?????P???

Many thanks.

1 A. The 'invasion of privacy' is an American term .

2 The usual 'about' and then an anagram (off) of lust F.

4 Mock is a verb, tease etc.

12 The usual Female, add a three-letter 'edge', Female again and a seven-letter word for cutting off (a tree branch , say).
