Thirteen all at once - maybe six and seven would have been easier, less daunting!

2 Evident, plain - anagram of 'I've'+dent, nick.
13 Alter, adjust, from Halter, check for horse.

FYI, I just noticed something I dont know if it is a typo but one of the numbers in parentheses was listed a (3-6) and I have never seen that before, usually its a comma
