I actually did it, without help!! Really enjoyed the concept and loved 8, 10 and 19. Still not parsed some of the patches and of course had trouble with K!

Day is D
Where IA comes from, no idea.
There are several patches I don't even know which clue they are! Slowly working them out.

Sunray, the first two letters give 'hot' and the last three are a translation of the second word in the clue, used by 'a Latino', leading to the answer/country.
