I have 8 clashes which spell out the wearer and the clothing

Still looking for some more redundant words..

aah... missed the redundant "out" from 6d ... nearly there ...at least i know what to do now!

and the other 2 "redundants" i need , i can see ! All done

May I butt in with an observation about last week's puzzle? I posted too late for anybody to pick up my query so may I repeat it here to see if anybody can put me out of my (last week's) misery?


My (very tenuous) approach to the end game was:

13 across with the extra definition "Jack" - take the head from "Walter" leaving "Burro" as the entry for said 13 across; Jack defining donkey.
