Some remote controls require two batteries, some require three batteries, and some require four. A manufacturer wants to please every battery buyer. How many batteries should be put in each pack that is sold?

Maybe I am overthinking this problem but why couldnt you just add three numbers together and get 9? By having 9 batteries wouldnt it cover all three of the multiples? (2pack, 3pack, 4 pack)

Sorry, I think u are on the right track, but I am not full understanding what you are saying. U are not using full sentences so I just am getting like half the explanation. Would u mind clarifying what you meant by your last statement. Thanks \

I will give u some batteries if u do

If anyone else wouldnt mind helping with this problem I would appreciate it, and please dont just say a random number if you wouldnt mind briefly explaining how you got it. Unlike some people

it's 12 because then a remote that uses 2 batteries will be ok for 6 lots of usage
a remote that uses 3 will have 4 lots of usage
a remote that uses 4 will have 3 lots of usage

You are looking for the smallest number that 2,3 and 4 go into ... then there will be no batteries left over (when the remotes run out (again and again)
