My first time of asking for help!
Clues for 94 and 97 would be appreciated

What are the printed clues for them, and the letters?

It’s the charity puzzle On the Warpath
94: After I’ll will I got police caught out without final evidence- it was a disaster.

97: I with trainee first lieutenant, was taken in the vessel to get the guns.

All the answers are the do with the first and second World Wars.
No letters

94, World War 1, the disaster was not on the Western Front.

Crikey, rusty, how does that parse?

Best not say, Steve, as it a prize quiz.
Once you get a four letter word for "ill will" it jumps out at you.
And I've read loads on the First World War!

Does the answer to 97 begin with A. Think I have it but not completely sure. Thanks for your help
