thanks kirky - but what is the straightforward debut? Am I missing something? I only know it as the holiday, or a honeymoon period when you start a job etc.

When you start a job indeed, jigjag. There's a period when people are very forgiving because you're new, so everything is straightforward for a while. At least, that's all I can think of because it did puzzle me too.
