I have a different word for 6D, with the unchecked letters E,T,L in that order, to fit in with the 'missing' letters to the answer to the clue.

Not quite finished yet but when I saw that top and bottom rows said "reconstruct enumeration" my initial thought was that words had to be moved around to different numbered entries. Was that a deliberate attempt at fogging the issue?

So 31 was EDOM?

That's what I thought it meant too. So went down a wrong path for ages, apparently, though having filled the grid as the others have, i think, I still don't have the expression. But maybe I've missed a word or two. It's my least favourite IQ for ages.

Thanks, Muraria - after your post, I checked my 6 D. I'd put one letter in the wrong place originally and carried it on in the changes. I've fixed it now.

Hi Malone, with so many floating letters and anagrams to deal with, it's so easy to misplace one or two!
