Hi, Rusty!
Well, that is even better if your grandson and his girl friend are going along, too, next weekend!
And I am sure that Miss O will be delighted with the calculators, tomorrow, and especially about the fact that you very thoughtfully bought them for her.
Now...my friend in Calgary sent me this clip.

I hope this works......
I was fascinated...just imagine what one could do with some spare space in one's fridge?!!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, I like being with the young ones, and I'll see what Miss O makes of the calculators tomorrow, whenever she stops giggling!
I know my granddaughter!
A good clip about the bats.
Wonder why they were put in bags?
I have not seen a bat in a long time.
Lots of hedgehogs around here, though.

Good morning, Rusty!
A dull and miserable, but very mild, morning here.
A reasonably quiet day ahead.
BB is having a football birthday party today for his school friends (strangely, despite my prowess at heel kicks, I wasn't invited to this!)
Seriously though, his birthday is next Friday and we are having a family outing next Sunday to celebrate .
He will be seven!
You are off to the Pine Cone, aren't you....what time is Miss O coming to collect you?

Elle, I don't know if you do the Sunday Times cryptic crossword, but I saw a clue today that made me instantly think of you...

17 A. Feeling cold in one's
hands (4)

PS I don't need the answer!

Goodness, I hope your instantly thinking of me is not a character assassination, Malone?
I do not consider myself to be "lacking courage, spirit, or energy"!

But, yes, it is a word that I like ...we used it a lot up North...

Yes, I do the Sunday Times Cryptic, but don't have the puzzle as yet….but at least, I am now one clue up!

Sorry, Elle, I thought the word just meant 'cold' physically! I remember seeing you using it once, but I don't remember the context.

Good morning, Elle.
It's a lovely day here and no frost.
Up to now (and that could change) I am going out at 11.
I just watched, using fast forward, The Greatest Dancer.
I liked two dance acts.
I can not see what Jordan and Alesha bring to the show, or the dance captains.
And they all had on the same clothes as last week.
Filmed on the same day?
I'll record it again next week, just to see the acts.
Not interested in the rest of the show.
May try The Voice later, when the skiing finishes.

Hello, Malone!
I like your clue!

Thanks, Rusty. I know you don't do the Sunday puzzles. I'd have been disappointed if you hadn't been able to solve that clue!

It is okay, Malone I was only teasing you!
It does also mean " soft, crumbly; susceptible to cold; delicate in health "
But the word tends to be used in a non -complimentary fashion. Saying someone is nesh means he is a bit of a wimp!
I may be lots of things......but I can certainly fight my corner!

Hi, Rusty!
I didn't even bother with last night's "Greatest Dancer" ........
I'd had enough after watching bits of the previous week's show!
I think the judges /coaches in all the talent shows appear to wear the same clothes on several occasions.
I think the shows are compiled from an assortment of interviews/ performances , possibly filmed at different times on different days, and probably this is why it is done?
Aren't the dance captains meant to "coach" the chosen contestants later on, in the next stage of the show?
Presumably something similar to the Xfactor?
Altho I do not watch that, I think that is the process?
Who is skiing where?
