Hi, Rusty!
Whew , well, this first Men's Singles Semi-final this afternoon is heading for another marathon!
Hi, Rusty!
Obviously, these "long" matches are a speciality of Isner!
Ah yes, I do remember him now ...thank you for the link!
I didn't watch that particular very long match to which you refer, but I do recollect its happening....... and indeed his name, now!
Four hours in...and poor Rafa and Novak are still waiting in the locker room!
Their match was expected to commence about 3.15 pm!
The Mixed Doubles are now expected to start at 5.25 pm on Court One, if that is of any help?
But the other two Brits are on first; Jamie and Victoria will be playing second.
I have taken a break to talk to my grandson and wish him a Happy Birthday!
He tells me he is having a computer games party on Sunday!
Right, back to the tennis.......

A quick update, Rusty!
Yes, Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke are now playing on Court One,
The match is being shown on the Red Button, at the moment.
Jamie and Victoria to follow......

Rusty!
My abject apologies!!
I have suffered the biggest senior relapse of all time - and have misinformed you!
Harriet and Jay are actually playing against Jamie and Victoria!
I got muddled up!
I hope this hasn't caused any disaster?

(I shall go and hideā€¦.)

Good evening, Elle!
You had me muddled, right enough!
I watched the mixed doubles and it was very enjoyable!
I had not seen Harriet and Jay before, but I hope to see them again.
The golf was fine, too, although I would like to see the wind get up.
And Dylan Groenewegen won today's stage of Le Tour.
Sagan was third.
A very quiet stage.
Roll on Sunday when they hit the cobbles!

I've just watched the highlights of today's TdF stage - what a weird one! The peloton caught the lone breakaway, almost accidentally, about 20km out, then it looked like they didn't really know what to do next!

Great sprint though - though I think that Cavendish has passed his sell-by date, unfortunately.

The scenery was pleasant, though, Chris!
About all there is to be said about today's stage!
I agree regarding Cavendish, but in his defence he has had a lot of injuries this past year, since his broken shoulder in last year's Tour..
Be good to see him battling for a stage win again, though.

Good evening, Rusty!
At least you did mange to watch the Mixed Doubles Match, though, in the end!
Despite my efforts to confuse you!
What a tremendous first Men's Semi-final......6 hours and 36 minutes......marvellous play......neither man deserved to lose!
It was a lovely ending when the loser came around the net to hug the winner and congratulate him!
And now it is Rafa and Novak's turn.......
Five hours behind their scheduled start!
They are playing under the roof, as obviously the daylight will go, soon.
I am glad that the golf and the cycling went well, too!

Hello, Elle!
I am finished with TV for the day, now.
I have my DAB wireless on.
The mixed doubles was very entertaining, I thought.
Who have Jamie and Victoria in the final?
Yes, the marathon with Anderson and Isner was a cracking match.
I only saw bits of it, what with the golf and all.
The cycling was not great, in reality, more like a big club run for most of the day.

Hi, Rusty!
I am watching the second Semi now, between Rafa and Novak.
It is an excellent match so far...a very different type tennis from the previous match., though.
Novak took the first set, and it is now going with serve.......
There is a strong possibility that this match might not finish tonight....
The deadline allowed is 11 pm.
In which case, I think the players will play on to a conclusion tomorrow, after the Women's Final.
We shall see what happens......
Jamie and Victoria will play Nicole Melichar and Alexander Peya in the final.
Did your son manage to visit you?
