Hi, Rusty!
My daughter came with me when I bought my present computer...so the Asus was really her choice , not mine!
But as she is a Software Engineer, I go with her advice!
I am sure Miss O will help you to choice something suitable for your requirements.
No, I haven't had the chance to look in on the WAW so far today, although I had a good browse last night.
Yes, I do remember Hugh P and daughter Maria...... you sent me clip of them singing!
I thought it great!
I shall look out for them in due course when exploring more of the Wild Atlantic Way!
Karolina Pliskova won her match easily in two straight sets …….

Hi, Rusty!
Very grey and menacing here.....
I rushed out earlier and brought in my washing, in case the rain arrived!
No sign of it yet, though, and it was supposed to arrive at 4 pm.
More upsets in the women's tennis!
Lucie Safarova beat Aggie Radwanska in two straight sets.
And Caroline Wozniacki has lost the first set of her match.........
While in the men's tennis, Roger won through easily in three sets.
But Novak has had to go to five sets before winning.
I am now taking a break!
Yes.......thank you...... I enjoyed Hugh P and Maria!

Looks like Hugh P was in a showband in his young days!
The golf at Ballyliffin does not start properly until tomorrow.
Today is for practice and the pro-am.
Saw quite a bit of the scenery of Inishowen, too.

Stan was possibly going to win the third set...but I don't know how the disruption of play will now affect the outcome?
Cheese and onion omelette and chips for dinner....
Very kindly served to me in front of the TV, so that I didn't need to leave the match!!!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, it's good to see the chicks thriving.
A pity you only had 10 minutes of rain.
Your dinner sounds very appetising!
A wee bit of spoiling won't harm you!

Hi, Rusty!
No, the rain didn't last long enough to help the garden!
We shall have to go water it shortly, especially the lawn.
We have just had the six- monthly comparison water bill promised us by Thames Water, showing the difference between the cost of our water now...and what it would be costing were we already metered!
Despite fervent assurances from TW that being metered would save us a lot of money, the bill shows that being on the meter would prove £35 MORE expensive over a six monthly period!
I am not impressed!
You are fortunate that, as yet, you are not being forced into having a water meter!
It is till raining at Wimbledon!
I do not think there will be any more play tonight now.

Hello, Elle!
Are you going to contact Thames Water to see what have they to say for themselves?
Does not sound very promising, though.
No word of water meters here...yet.
The forecast for Wimbledon was a dry fortnight, too.
I thought there was a movable roof for the Centre Court, in case it rained?

elle- usually meters are not more expensive unless you water the garden a lot (I am expecting my bills to go up 100% for a while). I don't water the grass, though. The rule of thumb is if you have fewer people than bedrooms in the house, you'll save. However, I know you were worried that it would cost more. Not a lot you can do about it, I guess.

Because I was fed up with my own company and already read a whole book today, I watched "24 Hours in A & E". Makes you very grateful for modern medicine, let alone the NHS. The surgeon there said he'd like to forbid his children to trampoline, use monkey bars or have a pony. Didn't kmow monkey bars are dangerous.
