Good morning, Elle!
Fine morning here.
Glad you have Mr M sorted out!
He jumped ship!
He comes across as a bit of a right-winger, anyway.
Is it a welly-testing kind of day with you?
I am taking it easy.
One of my favourite ladies is running today...Vroum Vroum Mag!
So, hopefully I can get the racing from Fairyhouse on my TV.
Maybe do a bit of reading, too.
Hideki Matsuyama has a huge lead in the golf and I can not see the others catching him.

Good morning, Rusty!
And a very beautiful one it is, too!
Lovely out!
Blue sky, lots of sunshine - a heavy frost (ground, roofs, cars) and bitterly cold!
But the sort of day that makes you glad to be alive!
No, not a welly-testing day!
I have heard you mention Vroum Vroum Mag - one of Willie Mullins' horses?
and "Fairyhouse" has to be a racecourse in Ireland?
I have nothing to watch on TV - no Sport for me.
Only yesterday's "Casualty" to catch up on.....
.........and the "Everyman"!

Hello, Elle,
Yes, Vroum Vroum Mag is one of Willie's team.
A fine mare!
There are some smashing horses taking her on!
And Fairyhouse is in Ireland.
It is a grand day here.
Hope you manage Everyman!
Are you at the Christmas card writing, yet?
I have been experimenting with different browsers but have returned to Chrome.
Several have Adblock built in to them.
Not Chrome though.
I am out of crosswords today.

Good afternoon, Rusty!
Ah, Christmas cards..........I knew there was something I was supposed to do today!
No, "the best laid plans of mice and men......."!
My daughter rang just after I spoke to you this morning, and we have been out!
My word, though, it was cold!
Even colder, I think, than at 8 am!
Yes, I did the Everyman early this morning ..........very straightforward.......disappointing.......no "left over" clues for me to chew-on!
How is your racing going?
How did Vroum VRoum Mag get on?

Good evening, Elle!
Vroum Vroum Mag was beaten a short head by her ex stable mate, Apple's Jade.
Great race.
Apple's Jade was one of the 60 plus horses removed from Willie's stables by Michael O'Leary (head of Ryanair).
Willie had increased his fees and O'Leary refused to pay and took his horses away.
It was great weather at Fairyhouse and the crowd were enjoying themselves.
How has your day been?
Did you write your cards?
Remember to phone your cousin!

Hey, Rusty!
Well, I have progressed as far as to update my Christmas card list!
( But I decided to leave the actual writing of the cards to another day!
Procrastination is the name of the game!)
Mr M and I have been in solemn communication for most of the evening!
I have come across what I think is the first reference to the title of the book.....
He says "We are all brothers. We all face the same problems and find the same satisfactions......... .................... ..................
Since we brothers occupy the entire earth, the world is our home."
No doubt he will enlarge on this theme later.........
We have had a second visitation!
Mr Jingles was seen running across the kitchen floor.......with the cat in hot pursuit!
The mouse escaped unscathed, though, underneath / behind the washing machine!
My cousin isn't at home tonight. She has gone to a Christmas Market in Manchester!

Hello, Elle!
Good news about Mr Jingles!
He has adopted you!
You could lay little tasty treats around the washing machine for him and family?
My friends in Norn Iron have gone to Wroclaw, Poland, for the weekend.
Christmas Markets are the attraction!
They say it is very cold there.
Maybe your cousin will phone you when she returns home?
I am reading Mr M, too.
I have Return to Paradise here.
Reading about Guadalcanal.
"A blood honoured name in American history" says Mr M.

Hi, Rusty!
I shall buy Mr Jingles a train ticket.........he can come to stay with you!
For some reason, his name has put me in mind of Mr. Bojangles......
I am now listening to Sammy Davis Junior singing it on YouTube!
Now, back to our friend Mr M ......after a near brush with death on an air landing strip, he has said "I will constantly support the things I believe in", as part of his future path in life.
A good precept by which to live, I think?
Have you finished re-reading Mr M's autobiography then?
Or are you dipping into "Return to Paradise" by the wayside, so to speak?
I hope your friends enjoy their weekend in Wroclaw.

Hello, Elle,
If you type "Mr Jingles, mouse", into YouTube you can see see the famous mouse.
Quite a few clips there.
Not finished the bio.
Just dip in and out of it while the golf was on.
It is a long time since I read "Return to Paradise" and it is good to revisit.
Not heard much from Wroclaw.
They need wi-fi to WhatsApp me, and that may be a problem.
But they like the city and the markets!

Good morning, Rusty!
A beautiful day!
Bright sunshine and blue sky - very frosty everywhere!
But terribly cold!
A piping hot coffee is very welcome on my return from my walk!
Now......I am seriously about to go Christmas shopping!
I have a list...and my intention is not to come home again without fulfilling today's tasks!
I am meeting my daughter in Bromley, so at least the labour can be shared!
(and we can have lunch!!)
I hope to be back about tea time........
What are you planning to do with your day?
