Leo, it is best to give the clue, as not everyone online has the crossword. I have just answered your other thread.

I think it is "eats" as that means fare as in grub but I cannot see the other bit of the clue

Malone has just given wordplay for this on the thread started by Leo:

'Second class' could be the 'b' in 'beats'(caps), 'no longer available' means to remove it and you're left with 'eats'.
