Some great (testing) clues this week and I've finished the grid, however, one clue answer's wordplay escapes me , I have an idea, but can't quite make it work.

Has anyone got an explanation for 29 Across, which is:

I don't toe the editorial line maybe envisaged (8) - M - G - N - D

It must be IMAGINED, (envisaged)

I + MAG(az)INE / editorial.

And that's it for me I'm afraid, can't see what else is involved
