Stuck on bottom left - 17a or d would help.
17a.Where I worked on a couple of classical couplets.(8) 5th letter 'i'.
17d Flowering plant, one in stock, a bloomer.(7) Third letter 'w'.
Sorry not much to go on.

anag of "where I" + "cl" = CLERIHEW

also stock = cow; bloomer = slip: COWSLIP

Thanks Jolan - how many times does 'Clerihew' crop up and I still rarely spot it.!
