Where are you all? Have found this weeks a difficult one but have completed about half. Help on 7, 16 and 23across please. Rain again today! Anyone else considering building an ark?

Didn't receive my copy until today. A struggle at first, but managed all but 12 a. Any clues.

Got 12 a, but think "preserving" is an odd reference.

Hey, cantersue, 12a was the first one to fall, for me. I'm always fascinated by other people's approach to crosswords and what they find difficult/easy.
I thought there'd be loads more threads by now, but if they're on hols as Jazzgirl says, then perhaps they've got more interesting things to do!!

Good Morning, All.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one to find this difficult. I wasn't sure if it was the crossword that was harder, or me becoming dumber, but this took two hours to do most of it then considerably longer to get the last couple of clues, particularly the one starting Nine is wrong. Got it eventually, but it took its time a-coming.

Hope all are well. Wet and miserable hereabouts.
