Nearly finished, but can't spot the wordplay in the last 3, any help with explanation would be appreciated, thanks.

36a) International team working initially for time in accounts (6) W -L - S. Wales?

27d) Pick book up that's about origin of Romulus and Remus character (4,4) - R - R, - O - F.
I think it is ending with 'Wolf' as the Capitoline she-wolf cared for the twins R&R before adoption by Faustulus, but can't seem to get anywhere with it, it may start with B for Book?

45d) A church ignored by God? You can count on it (6) - B - C - S.
Think this must be ABACUS, but can't see the 'ignored by God' connection.

The other one IS Wales - swapping the 't' of tales (accounts/stories) for the 'w' of 'working.

Oh bloody nora! Thanks all,

I should have got Bac(ch)us, but I thought Bacchus was a real person from caesarian times (silly me)

W for T in Wales/Tales. kick myself now.

The Brer Wolf clue looks sound, and i see it as Pick meaning Flower
in;

Pick book up that's about origin of Romulus (R) and Remus character

Pick book up about R = flow(R)er(B)- (B)re(R) wolf

Is that correct that Pick is meaning flower, if so, not heard that before?
