Hallo old friends, and lots of new names. Just got back from Carribbean so only picked it up last week. Seemed so tough at first but gradually starting to recover from the sun and maybe too many cocktails, if it's ever possible to have too many, and make sense of it. Have solved 46 of them so far of which I am 90% sure so a very long way to go. Got 100 last time but don't think I will with this. Don't even understand some of the clues you have been giving!! However, will keep trying and see how I get on. Well done all you clever ones who have finished, or are nearly there.

Some really great clues here. Sure sign I'm back into it, 1a.m. and still poring over it. The only type of shoe I can find with 13 letters is a German name, or ones which are hyphenated. Think I'm too tired, must get to bed and try again over the weekend. Have got 50 now, most right I think, although haven't even done number 1....my friend who also does it is screaming at me that it's the easiest of the lot! Still in holiday mode obviously.

I'm a bit unsure about my answer for 56. Does the first word begin with an n and the 2nd with a t?

I meant to say G for the start of the second word in 56. I get a connection with your clue, Observer, but it's not a cryptic enough solution. Do you have the first word beginning with an I and the second with a C?I'll need to finish this quiz soon. My brain's getting addled.

Hi Tin Lizzie, hope you have a good one. Halitosis isn't getting me any nearer to 56, wondering if the 2nd word is somewhere with a lawn and flower beds. Still only solved 59 so far, haven't quite got my head inside the the Raibow heads but am willing to give clues, in the unlikely chance that I have solved some not mentioned yet. I seem to be struggling with the most obvious ones.
