Quite tricky I thought. I needed Chambers to confirm a couple of meanings and Wikipedia for one reference.
Care needed with 6d, I managed to get it the wrong way round.
And we have an antonym pairing this week.

Bit of a shame that 22 is repeated in today’s Quiptic!

I'm usually golfing on Sundays, so I don't attempt the Everyman. If this one is typical, I don't think I'll bother again. Lots of loose clueing and multiple possible answers before crossers go in. Also lots of "guess, then parse" clues.

I did like 16d.

Satisfying but easy (especially after last week, which I found hard).
I too got 6d the wrong way around at first , perhaps why 4a was LOI.
Thank you to the setter!

I found this the easiest this year (or am I getting used to the setter, perhaps). Although complete, I don't understand "parky's" in 5d, and hope I have 9a correct in what seems a very straightforward clue.

Parky is an informal expression for chilly. The capital P is there to mislead. 9a parses 4,4,1

Thanks Jono, it means I have used the wrong phrase completely, using the same crossers. Yes, am happy with my 9a.

I really enjoyed this one. Challenging but doable. Too many favourites to choose a COD but enjoyed the antonym pairing. I counted 8 plurals - is that a theme??

I agree with Chrise,
Lots of dubious clues and poorly defined parsing in my opinion.
Can anyone explain 6d parsing please?

One of the poor ones, if my parsing is right. Find a synonym for "casts" starting with H, drop the H, then change the spelling!
