Pretty sure 1D clue is missing, unless it somehow relates to the quote. Can’t come up with a word that fits, though. A name, maybe?

My slight quibble is that it's not a quotation but the translation of a quotation, of which there are a number of quite different wordings, so I wonder if there might not have been a more accurate way to put the rubric?
